Busy doing nothing...
With all the time in the world to get stuff done how can I possible not have made a dent in my 'to-do list' today? I think I spend too much time on the internet...
Things that bother me...
Well lot's of things do actually... for instance, I haven't filled in the 'about me' bit on this blog. But I can't see that bothering other people too much and before anybody thinks it (or says it out loud for that matter)... 'Not feeling unloved'!
Not the case. Just being honest. And feeling it too. Honest.
Anyway, there are a couple of bits that have struck a chord with me for a while... (apart from what I have written above).
They are...
Passports? Why so long to get?
I probably have less birthdays than I have had...
Ruth Ellis... this just doesn't sit right.
Governments... need I say more?
There are a lot more but fuck it.

England lose again at the World Coup...
So England won't be hosting the World Cup in 2018. Disappointing isn't it? Well I'm disappointed. I might not be the biggest fan of the game, but I would have loved to have seen it over here again. It's been too long... and look what happened last time!
Instead it'll be off to Russia. You know? Russia. The gas people.
By all accounts, our bid was good, both commercially and technically. The presentation was good. David Beckham was in attendance... so was the PM. Even our future King turned up!
So what went wrong? Was it the Panorama program? The press? The pitch invasion at Birmingham that occurred on the eve of the vote?
But who cares now? The dream is over... And that's a shame but at least we can console ourselves with the knowledge that we do have the Olympics to look forward to. And for those, I can't wait. Just hope I can get some tickets...

Qatar got the decision to host the World Cup in 2022. Who you ask? Qatar. You know? Qatar. The oil people.
