More out of guilt than a yearning to actually go, we are off to Wales later to visit some relatives. But before we go... house cleaning? WTF?!
Why the sudden urge to leave the house in such high state of cleanliness that you could perform surgical procedures in the kitchen? I kid you not...
After we have cleaned will come the packing, which still hasn't been resolved...
'What do we need to take?' asked wife.
I replied 'All I know about Wales is 'There be witches''
Didn't go down all that well so now we are taking more gear than they took on the D-Day landings. Me and my big mouth...
So Wales? She thinks. I will be in Wales for a time... but at some point will have a day across the Mersey... even though we live 'rural' I still need my city fix every now and again. And I haven't had a fix of Liverpool for a good while now. Can't wait.
